:wave:Does anyone rate these? Found an odd shapped poo of Bunnies and so thought deserved an investigation. Broke it open and found a little knot of hair inside.

Don't know whether it was from her ingesting hair from cleaning or she ate it when she cleaned her bum as she often bites out any knot of hair but leaves them on floor! Never had this before, could be one off but we one into worry protective mode now!

Do they actually help and I am a bit concerned about giving 1 a day as Bunnie can have a sensitive tum so would maybe 1 every week or 3-4 days be ok/worth it?

Saw them on Hay experts.
Anyone know anywhere cheaper?

I used to get mine from petlifeonline website but i think they are all fairly similar in price. There are a few other pet sites that sell them.
I put up a post yesterday about human versions of the enzyme which are smaller bottles in health food sites. Im yet to use them yet though. Also i found today in pets@home a new treat for small animals which are supposed to help prevent hairballs :? dunno if they are any good but my lot havent been keen on them yet :?

There is more evidence to suggest Bromelaine, the enzyme found in fresh pineapple (and available in pure form form H&B) may work than papayazyme (papain). The idea is it breaks down the mucus which binds the hair together rather than the hair itself.

There is no conclusive evidence for either though.

Think may keep an eye on her give her bum hair a trim and damp flannel her down as multing a bit at the mo! (she hates brushing unless its a soft brush that doesn't brush)

My lot love them, maybe I've just got greedy buns though :?

I've not found any use in either the hairball treats or papaya tablets :?
