Id like to thank everyone that posted and Im now convinced on getting a home rabbit. Went to "pets at home" at the weekend and they had a giant house rabbit. Now ive decided this is just what id like , but they are £130 quid each is this right ??? And is there anywhere else near norfolk that i could get one from.

Many Thanks

Ben

I think it would be better to use a rescue, there are over 33,000 bunnies needing homes... including house bunnies!:D

Definately get a rescue bun :D
The money you donate will go to helping more unwanted bunnies too :D

Sprowston Guinea Pig rescue might have some giant buns in

Try any one of these:

If you get a rabbit form a rescue the initial payment will be less *plus* he or she will already be spayed or neutered - if you get the one from Pets at Home you will have to shell out another £50 or so for neutering.

Also at a rescue you will be given the chance to interract with the rabbits to see which one's temperament you like best, and you'll get detailed information on bunny's past including any medical problems. (pet shops very rarely do this!)

Best of luck finding your perfect bunny.

Thanks for that but "Please note at the present we are not rehoming Giant Rabbits." ******

Ok, ill have a look on the rspca's websites , are they just called "giant" or is it a specific breed ? Have read through books at the weekend but most refer to just as "giant"

Yeah but it says they'll be available from the 20th Feb - I'm sure you can wait 9 days ;)

Thanks for all your help guys , im gonna have to keep an eye on these places. Didnt realsie they were open again so shortly Doh.

I have a continental giant and i think they are brilliant. I would definately go for a rescue bun. You can meet them and see their great personalities and you are giving a home to a bunny that really needs it. I will soon be looking for a husbun for Lola and i will definately be getting a rescue bun:D good luck with your search, i'm sure there are lots of big bunny's waiting for a forever home:D:D
