North East members.....

is leeds in the north east? :? i use holly house vets but i guess they are too far from durham....they are very good though.

Me too, I'm in aberdeen. They don't include scotland when they talk about areas tho. Scotland, as big as it is, is just one area all on its own.

We're so neglected up here, stuck on our own, sob sob. Nobody cares. Everyone just ignores us. sob sob. :(:(:(

hiya chick,im from right next 2 u! im with first vets (odv i wont disclose which branch i go to incase anyone stalks me :lol:) as they have a small animal specialist and theyve always been quite good to me with phoebe, and getting him in quick when his icky tummy plays up :) there cheapish and really pleasent and friendly! gunna take my gurlies there to get neutered soon :D
I've used another vets called Ayres, who are brilliant but are VERY expensive,i mean.. STUPIDLY expensive.. and it takes ages to get an appointment in!
I've also heard from another bunny owner Croft Vets is quite good! and when i phoned a few weeks back for some prices, prices didnt sound too bad either, and made my bank balance smile a bit

Hi,

Sorry this is totally off topic but I thought the North East members might be able to help me..... I am looking after a nursing doe who gave birth whilst I was boarding her. The owner will want her back in five weeks time once the six babies are 8 weeks old and I have taken responsibility for rehoming them. I fear if I don't do so and hand them over they will either go to people who will just get bored of them, not neuter as their own owners didn't or they will keep them because they are cute and the whole process will most likely start again. (I neutered their buck and will have the doe done once the babies are weaned) I am trying to rehome simply be word of mouth, RR, local vets etc as I want them to have good homes. PLEASE if you know someone who would like to take one or two on PM me. Obviously they aren't ready for another five weeks but they are very pretty little buns, mum is lionhead with single mane and dad is lionhead with single mane x dwarf.

I use Abbey vets - near Nevilles Cross. Although for more specialised cases I go to first vets in Forest Hall, Newcastle. Judith Brown (The RWA vet) works there and is brilliant.:D

I use Bridge Vetinary Group in Hartlepool and they are also in Middlesbrough and Billingham. I changed to these on recommendations.

Whilst I am on is there anyone who knows of good bunny boarding around the north east?

I was going to take benny to abbey vets in chester le st - anyone use them?

Hi, Have not used Abbey vets but please *DON'T* use Cestria who are up the road. I take my vets to Dragon vets in Washington. A vet called Stephanie is relatively good with the rabbits, I wouldn't say she was 100% the best there is but the best I have been able to find since my brilliant rabbit vet changed to out of hours..and I live in Consett so it's some distance for me.
