My Rabbit Is Losing His Fur :o(

Can anyone help me. My male rabbit is only 6 months old and losing his fur in clumps. I have looked for lice and cant see anything and I brush him every morning and night :o(

is he moulting? or are the clumps right down to the skin? My bunny is having a major moult at the mo and i can pull tufts of fur out

He is moulting - however I rang the vet and they said it may be a bit early to moult? It is not right down to the skin but quite a lot is falling out. I am glad it happens to other rabbits though xxx

i was a bit worried at first but Lola is definately moulting...she's got some crazy markings on her face and an equator line around her middle where shes losing fur...looks very odd:lol: i dont think its anything to worry about tho. only problem arises from ingesting too much fur i think but i wouldn't like to give advice coz i wouldn't want to be wrong. rabbits are made to cope with some ingestion of fur as they groom so i wouldnt be overly worried:)
