how long do blood tests take?

hoping to get my female spayed soon, someone recommended I have a blood test done first, do they take long?

was hoping to get her in on friday got appointment to see vet thursday evening but think might have to book her in next week depending on blood test

Mine have always had the blood test done on the same day, before they are operated on

Depends what the tests are for. A routine pre-op blood profile should be able to be done there and then.

One of my vets has to send off the blood for analysis, and I think the results come back in about 3 days (if I'm remembering correctly).

im just enquiring about Liver/Kidney profiles now...

they can be done on the day, takes bout 6 minutes!
