do bonded pairs share same litter tray? or do they need their own?

will a bunny who isnt litter trained have 'negative litter' habits to a bun who is totally trained?

my two share but they have the option of one each in thier cage, they share the one in the living room

they have one each but both use the same one, ive kept the spare one in just incase and they eat a lot more hay out of it
