strange advice..?

Was researching abscesses earlier and came across this

Thats very random advice yes. The ones saying take the bunny to the vet are right I would say but to suggest using h/peroxide seems highly dangerous.
Is this something you have a problem with?

I thought it was quite common for people/animals to have abscesses cleaned [on the outside]with hydrogen peroxide. Not sure about bunnies though!

[and obviously the vet's a much better idea]

Oh i don't know then. I wouldn't want to administer that sort of thing with out the vets advice first with it being close to eyes etc.
