Hi, I'm new here. Glad I found this site!!! I have two rabbits, Stella, who was a very much wanted christmas present in 2006, and Bud, who came from a rescue centre in June 2007. Stella was getting bored on her own, so I decided the best thing would be to get her a friend. And now I'm addicted!!!

Hi, I never would have thought about getting another one if she was ok in herself. But with me at work all day, she was bored and despite all the things I tried so that she would have something to keep her occupied during the day, she just wasn't bothering until I got home from work. And she was becoming very jealous about other people being near me. I spoke to a lady that I know runs a rescue and she said Stella was becoming so attached to me she was thinking of me as another rabbit!!! She even tried mating my arm a few times!!! I felt so sorry for her being so lonely, so I went to a rescue centre and ended up with Bud. They're now best of friends. I do miss the old Stella - she used to jump up on the sofa and sit with me for hours, but she doesn't anymore because she has him to keep her company. Although I miss the cuddly Stella, I know she is happier. And so is he, although I think he will always be a nervous rabbit, he is getting more confident!!:)

I have two outside bunnies, Wolfgang and Gloria. Wolfie has a bit of lionhead in him, but doesnt have long hair. He has a little Elvis quiff between his ears. Gloria is the full monty and is hairy in every direction!!! She is just gorgeous and when it is windy, she is just a blur!! :lol::lol:

Stella is really fluffy too!! Bud is not so bad - I think he probably has a lot of rex in him. We've converted the outhouse for them for the winter!! They get to run around in there, but have their hutch too. Everyone thinks I'm mad for spoiling them!!!

My name is Harri.i live in shrewsbury. Iv had bunnies since i was 14 after the death rate of russian hamsters was getting too much! I was initially really scared of rabbits after too many viewings of watership down but now i cannot do without the little tykes. Sadly my last bunny, thumbelina had malloclusion which got worse with age, ending in her having to be put to sleep and i miss her TERRIBLY. I wanted to get a new bun desperatley but at the moment my dad is planning to make a move to cornwall(he is rabbit looker afterer in summer if i go away)so consequently cant take a pet in for life atm until things are sorted. So, im looking to be a foster carer for little ones who need a bit of special fuss and love before they find a home forever. Shrewsbury seems to be rabbitless so i dont know where to begin doing this. I dont have any major specifications only that im scared of giant rabbits(damn the mean one in watership down) and can house 2 maximum. I work 9-5 mon fri but come home every lunchtime for an hour. If anyone needs my help do let me know, im happy to be checked out etc.Also i only have the net during working hours so if i dont contact til mon im not being rude!
