I'm sitting here in shock so forgive me if I don't make a lot of sense. I went out to give the buns their greens tonight and Pippa was lying on her side obviously poorly. She had been 'apparently' fine this morning. I rushed her to the vets who could see haemorrhaging at the back of her eyes and said all indications pointed to a stroke. She was also incontinent and showing signs of paralysis. What has caused the stroke will remain a mystery but she had lost a lot of weight too. She was pts at 7pm :(

Pippa was my first rabbit and was an 'ex-breeder' from White Post Farm in Nottingham. She was a sad little rabbit who'd never been out of a hutch in her year of life. I brought her home and bonded her with MJ who was the love of her life, and he was devoted to her.

I'll never forget you Pippa and you will be greatly missed by me and MJ xxx

Thanks everyone. I've read RB posts for so long now and said sorry to so many people but this is the first time I've felt the pain of one of my bunnies dying and I feel so sad and can't stop crying. Pippa and MJ were so close, and Kay struggled to bond MJ before Pippa, and it was instant love with them. I don't know how he'll manage without her :(

When you text me last night to let me know I was in Asda and in total shock. I am thinking of you and MJ. MJ will be totally lost without her as she was definately his soulmate.
