Ok so Tomee's just finished his week of Baytril for his respiratory infection but he's still sneezing. No runny nose, pooing, eating, running & drinking. Normal bunny stuff.
Should I take him back to the vets or wait a couple days to see if the antibiotics kick in?
AND
Should I keep him inside if he's still sneezing? I was hoping to put him outside after his course of antibiotics but I'm not so sure now.
How long was the course and what was the dose rate?

7 days on 0.6ml a day of Baytril.
The vet said the infection was just at the top of his nostrils and he wasn't too worried if he seemed fine in himself. That was last Monday!
I would go back....is there still discharge?
You usually see a result with antibiotics before the course has finished.
Lexie has been on Baytril for 4 weeks for her Pasteurella and we are now looking at moving onto Septrin as she is still quite snuffly.

He didn't have a runny nose before he started the course he was just sneezing.
There is no discharge that I can see, I mean he's fine in himself he just sneezes every so often.
I did see a result after the third day but then it seems to of gradually come back again.

Are they sure its an respiratory tract infection? It would be a shame to force a tonne of abx down him if its an allergy.
Did the vet check there were no foreign objects in his nose?

He checked his nose and his breathing etc. and he said it was an infection at the back of his nostrils.
I was wondering whether it was just cos he's been brought inside, he's not use to the different smells.
I don't know what to do now, I don't want to put him back outside if he's got an infection but if I put him outside and he stops sneezing, it might just be something in the house that's irritating him.
I have to admit I have found the central heating makes some of my rabbits sneeze, Im sure its made Lexie worse and I caught Mav sneezing the other day....but there is actually nothing wrong with him.

That could be a possibility as the central heating has been on all day really. Eventhough I have got it on low in here.
I think I might put him back in his hutch and just keep a close eye on him.
Thanks! :D
