Simba

Born on the 12th of August with other 3 babies,Simba was skinny and awkward looking,I thought that he was ill from the beginning and might not live long. Simba too was always alone when they were young,while their sisters were playing Simba will go to the corner and mind his own business.

As the time passed by,I began to notice that he was not sick,probably just a little smaller size compared to his siblings.He started to eat more,as I was worried that he rarely eats when he was a baby.

And later,Ive never really taken many photos of him but I do enjoy playing around with him. He was really active , very friendly,naughty at times,and has a big appetite. Lately,I let him out with his father(Nuna) and they seem to bond with each other.I personally did this because I pity Nuna as he was all alone most of the time.

Simba was perfectly normal,at least to me. I did not see him having any kind of sickness.I checked his ears every week,look at his bottom. Nothing,everything was fine to me. He eats, drinks , exercises. The day before he died unexpectedly,I did gave him and all 4 rabbits the same food,a new cabbage,and some pellets,and some treats(bananas and dates). All of a sudden,I woke up yesterday morning and went down to check on the rabbits(28.12.2007) and he was lying down in his cage,arms and legs straight looking wet on his face and eyes opened. I thought he was just on his comfortable position but I was shocked to see him not moving even when i nudged his body.He was all harden and stiffed,and cold. I checked his whole body and could not find any wounds. I was really sad,until today, because he was my best friend,and he died all of a sudden,I feel like it is unfair to me,that he died without warning,and up until today I have no clue why he died. Later after that,I went out , dug my garden and buried Simba. I even talked to Simba's mother and sisters,asking them what happened to Simba,I pray that anyone can tell me what had happened,or Simba's family appear in my dream to tell me the answer.

He lived for about 5months,and I thank you Simba for being with me,you were my best friend and will always be,I miss you so much. I just can't accept that you are no more with me.You are special. :cry:

I miss you,Simba.

PS: If any of you know what could be the cause of the death,please,I beg you,share with me.

I am so sorry that you have lost Simba :cry:

There are many things that can cause a 'sudden death' . An accute infection (Pneumonia) can kill in hours. As Simba was always so small compared to his siblings he may have been born with a heart defect.
Without a Post Mortem it really is not possible to say why Simba died but it sounds as though his passing was quick and he did not suffer feeling poorly.

Try to remember the fun he had in his short life and remember only the good die young

Thank you everyone. If any of you have any thoughts or ideas on Simba's death,please share with me,at least it could make me feel better to know why he died.I'm still very very upset,and I can't accept that he is no more. :cry:
