What do you think of this:

Its a new leaflet as I have the old one here and it makes no mention of the efficiency.
EG...It suggests that IN contact rabbits, i.e those living with an infected partner should be protected by the 9 day course of treatment.
I think this is misleading as how do you know at what point the incontact partner of an infected rabbit goes from being 'incontact' to a 'carrier'. Surely its safer to treat for 6 weeks just incase?

Efficacy
The efficacy of fenbendazole for preventing experimental infection of Encephalitozoon cuniculi has been investigated.3 Rabbits were infected with E.cuniculi during a 9 day treatment period with Fenbendazole:
Treated rabbits remained
seronegative and the parasite could
not be isolated from brain tissue.
Untreated controls seroconverted
and spores were isolated.
