  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Not Sure What's Wrong With Stu

Ab & Stu

Alpha Buck
Hi

I'm wondering if anyone can help?

I may just be worrying over nothing but Stu seems a little quiet! He's eating, drinking, pooing and weeing fine, all normal! In fact he eats me out of house and home!!!
It's just over the last couple of days he doesn't have as much energy as usual, he spends alot of time in his cardboard box or snuggled up with Ebony. When i used to let him out he would spend hours binkying around the room now he comes out for a couple of binky's and he's back off to bed. The only thing i've noticed that is different is that in his litter tray there are white marks. I have read on here that it's due to too much Calcium so I have cut down his veg and pellets - is this the right thing to do?? and would this make he less energetic??

Is there anything else it could be??

Thanks

Abbie

Scamps been the same the last few days. Eating/pooping/gets excited over food but he keeps putting himself back to bed when I open his gate up for a run around. Maybe it's the colder weather :)

Thats what my O/H suggested but i wasn't sure if indoor buns realised the winter was on it's way! I hope thats all it is!

Thanks

Abbie
