Can neutering fail?

DDD

Mama Doe
Desmond has started to spray and has never done this before. He never learnt how to do this before neutering so seems odd. could this be contributing to his abnormal dominancy and intimidating behaviour? Ive checked his 'bits' and his testicles have definitely gone!

He is definately neutered then:lol:  you cannot mistake the smell of un-neutered buck:lol:   spraying is a sign of affection though - he lurves you:lol:  in this case with it being in the hutch his water gun is aimed at Douglas then:lol:

so, in a funny way he still loves Douglas even though he terrorises him??? Doulas is so much more friendly with me and my husband at the mo as Desmond is being a terror. they are still chasing - well Desmond chasing Douglas. i just feel sorry for Douglas as he looks sad

It is often mistaken, but spraying is not only a sign of affection,I think in this situation it should be considered more as a property marking, which explains why he still chases his "friend".

(this is the comment I got from a behavioural therapist who studied at South Hampton and specialised in rabbits when I told her that one of my rabbits did this...on me... She sais, yes I could consider it a compliment, but also that the rabbit in question considered me as being his property)
