Update on my buns health

luvabun

Warren Veteran
Just been to the Vets for myxi jabs for 3 of them and a check-up. Here we go...

Kiki..... having had her bottom teeth out twice and her top ones out once, a top one has regrown so she's in for an extraction next Friday. :(

Spike... doing really well for an Oxford bun :D

Brody... her gut still has some impaction but it's a lot less than it was 3 weeks ago and she's eating/ pooing OK so it's a case of monitoring that. However, I've noticed that her front paws are really pin-toed so the Vet checked her range of movement and as well as spinal arthritis, she now has arthritis in her wrists . So she's on a low dose of pain relief for that now. :(

Totti... is fine - given a clean bill of health . I thought he may be a bit portly but apparently he has very little fat on him . That's my boy. :D

awwwww healing vines for 'dont go breaking my heart, I couldn't if I tried' Kiki bun and healing vines for Brody bun too mate x

I foresee that we will eventually be acquiring specialised orthondistry vet surgeries soon that just deal with teeth, so many many buns with teeth problems:(

Brody says thanks for the vines and can her Mum have the liquid variety     .

Had a long chat with the Vet about the state of my buns and he said it's to be expected when you're taking on "rejects" (my words not his) and that given their circumstances, they are doing very well. Spikes mismatched back teeth (thank you Oxford breeder  ) could cause him problems at any time but he's managing well at the mo.
