Gilbert's chin lump

Hiya!!

Okay, so I know it's nothing to worry about, cos I can see from the pictures Faye took that he had it when he was with her, but I'm curious - what is the lump on Gilbert's chin? Presumably it would be referred to as a dewlap, but what's caused it? Cos he doesn't seem to be a fat bunny... or is that just cos I'm comparing him to Candy

I just looked at some old pics of Gilbert and he's always had a bit of a boy dewlap, most unspayed females have bigger ones but some males do have smaller ones, think its down to hormones:? ..... he's looking handsome though, when he was with me they were both going through a bit of a messy molt.
