  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Poo'ing

Pringle

Warren Veteran
Ever since Pringle has had bloat i feel he has not poo'd that much :? is this a problem, he will do a few poo's but not as many as he used to. I dont know if i just take bad as the other two poo for britain. Im just worried Pringle not poo'in that much is a problem? xx

Not sure, but someone will be around soon!! I think as long as he's pooing, should be OK! Perhaps it takes a bit of time for their bodies to get back into the 'routine'.

Its been about 3 weeks now though :? i will see if anyone else replys, he has a check up at vet on Tuesday so will ask them then xx

I wish I had that problem! Our Puzzle is trying to fertilize the world, it seems! He is an 11 week old Dutch and so hormonal currently he is dropping pills everywhere to mark his passage through life! He was so good three weeks ago when we got him, but now it's pills everywhere and the occasional wee puddle for good measure! I say, I hope your bunny is fine, but relax and enjoy it if it normal for him! (Sigh-- time to get out the broom and dustpan again)
