Don't have any myself but my school has a small herd of females living in a pen

Occasionally the GPs have babies, and what is so nice about them is that all the females help raise the young, they even nurse each others babies

Not all are as good mothers though, like Totsi here:lol: Stealing the baby's apple.

Totsi's mother, Hetterotta (Hooded rat:roll: Named so because of her markings) feeding her baby.

Brownies is such a good mother we had to stop breeding her, because she kept nursing so many babies she lost a lot of weight every time:lol: She still cares for the other girl's babies though, although she no longer provides milk for them.

Hetterotta's baby (see the family resemblance:lol: the father looked about the same too, only with way more black)

I so loved this one

They don't have any babies at the moment, and we still have some of the texel-babies on these pictures, though they have all grown up.

and in there new hutch, it's not 100% finished yet just needed a quick solution to get them in the shed seeing as there outdoor hucth wouldn't fit, lol.

Aww they are all really really cute!

Beth your camera is really good! I can never get very good photo's on mine, though i have got some somewhere on the computer of Pearl and Misty in the run. they came out lovely. Oh well never mind.

They are all great photos! Anyone else got piggers?

Found an old picture of one guinea pig that captured my heart

His name was Obi (tended to call him Obi Van Guinea pig in my mind Named from Obi Wan Kenobi, yet no one ever called him Obi Wan, he was just little Obi) and he was a peruan guinea pig as far as I recall.... To be frank I never really liked peruans, but this one was so cute:lol: Espesially as a baby.
I saw him again at the pet store later on (yeah school sells to the pet store) and he had gotten big
