a daft question I'm afraid :lol:

I was just looking at my two girls and realised that Poppy doesnt have any whiskers and to the best of my knowledge, never has. how can this be?! don't they need their whiskers? what are the causes and consequences of not having them?

Is Poppy a rex? That could explain the lack of whiskers maybe?

rexes have whiskers, they're just curly.

Yes, that's as I thought. I had an orange rex a long time ago without any whiskers though. Just one of those rabbity quirks I guess.

she is a rex actually - maybe that's it. On closer inspection she does have one, but its maybe 2-3cm long whereas sorrels whiskers are like a big swishy moustache. doesnt the lack of whiskers inconvenience them??
