Vets4Pets £10 vaccinations

Just heard on the radio they are doing vaccinations for rabbits, cats and dogs £10.. My nearset is Shewsbury so its not worth it for me too far to take the buns.

They seem quite cheap in general, just rang my local one for a spaying quote and it was £45 including all the drugs!

New vet has opened near me doing jabs for £15 each....half the price of my usually vets.

That's fantastic. When I was at the vet this afternoon I noticed they've got a big RABBITS INFORMATION folder in the waiting room. In it there's a list of costs: VHD £17.50
If both vacs are paid for at the same time it's a total of
£30.00 though
Myxi £17.50

Spay £75.00
Neuter £60.00

We use Vets4Pets, they were really good with Piper's spay and said to take her back if we had any problems post op. 2 of the vets seem pretty rabbit savvy and they have a nurse who is very interested in rabbits and runs a rabbit info session type thing. vhd for two buns was about £36 can't remember for myxi

I paid £71 for my spay for Splodge  They even had a cheek to charge me £1.20 for one of those nature sticks. They sell them at P@H for £1.65 for THREE!!!
I might try vets for pets and see what they are like!!

Ohhh, that would have neen great. They were supposed to be opening a vets4pets right in my town, but it must have fallen through, quite annoying really.

You think those prices are bad?! The first vet i rang said £80 to do male £115 for female!!! Its shocking the difference in prices

crikey, i think Bob was about £40 to be neutered and Abby was £52 to be spayed... it goes on body weight at my vets thugh, and both of mine are quite teeny.

Woah.....That spey price is extortionate  and I thought my vets overcharged

My vet charged £90 for Daisy's spay. I was originally told it would be around £80 and when I queried it they said they charged me for two types of stitches!!! Unbelievable rip off. They charge £20 for jabs too. I wouldn't go it's just that they are on my doorstep. I only take my pets there for routine treatment though, for any specialist rabbit treatment we make the journey to the Cat & Rabbit Clinic. Their prices are quite reasonable.

I travel quite a way to the vets I use because a) their prices are reasonable (£30 a spay or neuter) and b) they have two rabbit savvy vets and c) you don't have to have an appointment which can I s'pose work both ways but my lot don't usually give me any warning if they're going to throw one!!

we use several different vets..but do use Vets4pets in Gamston..reasonalbe prices and 2 rabbit-savvy vets.
Chubbina where abouts are you?
Also did you ever get Daisy's teeth sorted?? If not I'm going to our dental vet on Monday.....they will check her teeth and do what they can without GA,,if she is very nervous they will give a small whiff of gas...let me know if you want details..
(can't remember if you've already had them:oops: )
