foul smelling ear

hi folks, ive not been on here for a while!

Pirate, has a smelly ear. i posted about this some time ago and took her to the vets. they prescribed baytrill as a precaution, but they couldnt find any infection in the ear. they swabbed the ear wax and said it was bacteria free. the smell never fully went away and neither did the smelly wax. lately, she is producing more ear wax again and it stinks! she has not long been off of baytrill as she had a bladder infection about 2 months ago and the dosage was quite high for that, and it did not get rid of the smelly ear. Any ideas?

Has your Bun been treated for ear mites? These can cause a secondary infection and foul smelling discharge.
Has the Vet prescribed antibiotic ear drops aswell as systemic antibiotics?
Canaural may be a useful ear treatment to try.
