Hiya Folks,
My little girl Buffy has had on going eye problems for around 18 months now but she is a brave girl and the problem has been managed with Tear Duct Flushes, Tiacil drops etc.
About 3 weeks ago she suddenly developed a small lump in the corner of her eye. I popped her to our Bunny Savy Vet who advised that surgery may be best to assertain the exact problem - ie Tumour or Abscess
The lump has increasly slightly in size now and she has been back this morning and the Vet feels we should now definately consider surgery, although my worries are that the prognosis isnt good which ever way it goes and I'm not sure I'm right in putting her through surgery, - I'm wondering if perhaps I should just let nature take its course and try and contain the growth/abscess with medication and then make the decision when the time comes.
Do any of you folks have any thoughts or had similar experiences - how did your bunnies cope with the trauma following surgery and did you feel you made the right decision in having surgery?
Thanks Folks, any throughts good or bad would be much appreciated.
