Selma now has a mullet!

In May I got Selma from the RSPCA as a friend for my bunny Linus. It's worked out really well and they are inseperable and look really cute together! However....
This is a photo of her when I first got her:


Now a few months later she has developed a rather fetching mullet!:


I'm rather confused as to why she would start growing one all of a sudden - is she jealous of Linus' one and decided to grow an even better one than his??!!!
