Hi
I am so happy with them. They are so gorge. They arrived while I was on my lunch break so I was able to get home and see them settle in. It was hard going back to college after seeing them but I did it and I'm proud of myself for it. They jumped straight in and were exploring. The brown and white is called Milly. The black and white is called Molly. They first pooed and ate hay within half an hour of arriving. And they pooed in the litter tray!!!!! I'm so pleased. Molly is more confident than Milly. Milly likes to doze off in the bedroom compartment and Molly likes to see everything that's going on. My dog has said hello to them too. They have eaten some pellets, meadow hay and timothy hay and pooed so many times, their litter tray is almost full up. The first poos they did were quite large and squashy but now their poos are small and round. I haven't seen them wee but i guess that they have. We have picked them up and stroked them. Molly showed us that she was relaxed in our space but Milly showed us she was a bit nervous, a bit white eyed and tense, but we'll work on making her more relaxed. They were also washing each other earlier and themselves. After reading this medium-long post, you can now enjoy some pics.
Hutch:
Their bedroom:
Their litter tray(which now has loads of poos in it:lol: ):
Their 5ftx5ft run(with their little shelter in there):
Now here's some piccies of the babies:
Milly's hiding:lol: :
Still a bit shy....:
Here she is:
Now Molly's turn:
Who are you?:
And a closeup of her gorgeous face:
I'll get some better pics at the weekend when they are in their run. Just wanted to let them settle in first. So, what do you think of them? Aren't they the cutest? They are now dozing off at the front of the hutch in the sun. Completely relaxed and content. Will try and get a pic with them dozing off together but everytime we go near, Milly moves off.
