Sudden increase in agression?

Teyla has been in her new home for a couple weeks and next to Teal'c almost as long. She has been the sweetest little bun but now she is becoming agressive towards me. She does the charge and grunt when I go to put food in her bowl or if I try to clean up some of the hay she's knocked off her shelf. Is it possible that now she's comfortable in her new home and is trying to take charge? What should I do?

Doe's are known to be more territorial so the behaviour is quite normal. You could try distracting her with a small treat while you get the food bowl etc. I have to do that with Billy and Emily because they both charge at my hand, so I give them a rosehip or something to take their mind off things while I get the food bowl, or put more hay in.
