It is pouring rain outside, so we brought Cookie in for a dry visit. Since we do this on the porch so she won't wee on the carpets inside when she tells us it's time to go out, and that is where we are housing new Puzzle, we let them meet each other--through bars at first and then when being held. Total happy meeting! Lots of sniffing, grooming through the bars, and staying near each other. Didn't last long as we have other commitments and need a few of us to keep on top of the situation in case they would get aggressive, but it was heartwarming for the 25 minutes we tried it!
