We're planning to bond our two rescue bunnies, Jasper and Candy with our two rescued french lops, Lionel and Amber. The two frenchies have just had their ops and we're waiting until their hormones calm down before attempting anything.

They're all really friendly buns so we're hoping to house them together in a large dog kennel and run, 12 x 4ft.

For now we're doing our research and looking into the best way to bond them. The vet advised us to use the garden so they can run away from each other if necessary, but other advice says to use a small area like a bathroom.

We had planned to take them all to our brilliant local rescue centre in Norwich but I'm wondering if the travelling etc may make the whole experience more stressful for them.

Any help or advice would be really appreciated.

Cheryl is excellent at bonding rabbits, many rabbits become stressed at travelling, however this often makes it easier to bond them as they will rely on each other for support.

I always use a confined area when bonding, this makes it easier for myself to get to them if they need separating, it also makes them interact with each other more instead of being able to stay away from each other.

Thanks for the advice. Cheryl is fantastic, so we'll probably leave it to the expert! :D
