Honking female

Is it normal for a female to make that weird honking sound that males make?:?

Loppy's started to make it whanever she's doing her brekfast/dinner binky accross the flat with Teddy or waiting for a treat... basically, when she's happy.

It's really funny to hear

Our doe Hoops does it too - normally accompanied by a little stamp of excitement, particularly when there's food around or she's running about upstairs

Everytime I read the title of that thread it makes me giggle. Honking is such a funny word when you think of a female rabbit :lol:

Misty is making that noise at the moment whenever I go in her cage......In our case its most certainly a warning as it always preceeds a lunge, not surprising with everything we have been force feeding her.
